Keegan's equipment change

With all the talk about Rory, I can't believe there isn't a 10 page thread on how Keegan's change from the visor to baseball cap is gonna change his game as we know it. You can't see his hair! His head can't breath! It's crazy!!!

The new hat is a terrible look for him. Bring back the cool visor! He actually said that he finally found a hat big enough for his head, I am beginning to think he is an alien in disguise.

I'm not a fan of the style (maybe that's a sign of getting old), but I will say that last year I started noticing that the playes get about double the shade value from the flatbills, than that of a "traditional" billed hat/visor. They make them look goofy as all getout, but they really are functional.

He only signed a shoe contract with nike. Been that way for awhile now.

Really though, it's the new style for a new generation of golfers. See all those kids behind the ropes wearing the Fowler orange and flat brims? It's the future and if that's what gets some more kids playing the game I am all in. Golf needs the fresh looks from the younger guys.

All those pictures confirm is that they looked silly then as they do now. Some things transcend fashion and look bad regardless of the era - flat bills are one of them

I'm in my 20's so I suppose I may have a bit different perspective on this than the flat-bill detractors. I'm not at all a fan of the flat bill, and you'd never catch me wearing one. But I'm even LESS of a fan of the visor. So in Keegan's case, as in 99% of cases I've seen, flat bill>visor.

I like the flat bills, colorful belts, and casual shoes. Golf is always talking about how they can grow the game, how they can get more viewers. As an avid golf viewer, who will watch anyone at anytime, i feel the guys that dress like everyone else are boring to watch. For example, Ricky fowler, hunter Mahan and Keegan Bradley, regardless of how they are playing, are more exciting to watch than Bill Haas, Harris English and the likes (whom I have nothing against...great players).
Our historically conservative game needs to understand that it is ok to express ones personality vs being prim and proper and not wanting to ever go against the grain.

It's not the flatbills per se, I think Rickie and Nick Watney can pull it off, but when you're basically head to to in prep wear and you have a flatbill it looks really weird (read: stupid). The visor looked way way way better with his normal outfits.

Once again, wearing the visor would be the conservative thing to do. Just like every member at your local country club. "Looks stupid" is all relative.

Keegan's head just doesn't go well with the flatbill. Something odd about his noggin. He was doing much better with the visor. Honestly, whatever works for him though. John Daly's pants are still one of the two worst things happening on the tour. The other is what's-his-name who wears those atrocious patterned shirts every chance he gets.

Being conservative has nothing to do with it. Flat bills just look silly. As do John Daly's pants, and Boo's army camouflage sleeves from a few years ago.

I think there are lots of ways to look stylish on the course and still be an individual. The flat bills miss the mark IMO

I do like the visor on Keegan better than the hat. As silly as people may think these guys look, depending on if they like their particular style or not, it's better for the game that they all dont dress the same. If they all dressed liked boring country clubbers, there wouldn't be much to watch.
Just think about all the kids that may not watch or be interested in the game if it weren't for the likes of fowler, Mahan, d Johnson, and Bradley. That's all I'm saying.

Ps. Flat bills don't look any sillier than Phil's ugly gator shoes. IMO.
