Because they’re operated by oki and judging by how they maintain Newcastle and Redmond ridge no one wants to risk driving down that far.

That's the consensus we all came to as well. If they weren't an Oki course, they'd be in the next tier of public courses in WA after Chambers, Gamble, Wine Valley but everyone sees Oki and scoffs - myself included.

I would say Newcastle is still fun to play. Decently Challenging but overall its pretty well kept for an oki course. Better than Muni's in my opinion. Oki's has alot of deals and Ive been playing on China Creek for sub $40 on the weekdays w/ Cart

It's tough to find a dry muni this time of year.  I think that Legion in Everett is one of the driest PNW courses available to the public.

Agreed! Every course in the area is all wet.

I agree on Legion.  Even though it's in a valley, Maplewood is actually pretty dry.

good to know about Legion, thanks. I like that course especially after the renovation but didn't realize it drained well in the winter. I'll add that to my short list this time of year.

Mt Si between Snoqualmie and North Bend is also one that drains really well. Played it on the 27th after ~1" of rain on both the 25th and 26th. Didn't have any plug in the fairway and the greens rolled really well.
