Ping i20 Order Times

I recently ordered a set of i20s. I was looking to see if anyone had ordered them recently and what their turn around times were after ordering.

Don't know about i20's, but I ordered G25's on April 7th and was told they were going to ship around April 21st. I got them on April 19th.

That sounds promising! I sold another set of clubs and have been gaming my old isi irons. They still feel pretty good! I ordered the i20s on 4/11.

I ordered a set of i20 April 5th. Have not got them yet. Checked last Wednesday. Said they'd call me when they're in. I'm giving them until Tuesday...then I'm the guy that calls the girl that's not too interested...

"hey, it's me again, was in the bathroom, wanted to make sure I didnt' miss your call."

From experience, should have my restraining order by Wednesday.

To be fair, it was late on the 5th (Friday afternoon). Not sure what Ping's work schedule is on the weekends. Maybe didn't get the order until the following Monday. I want to say the told me I'd have them around the 17th when I ordered them. We'll see...

My first set took a week. I had some finish issues and sent them back. PING let me go through a fitting at our clubs demo day because I was concerned about the orginal fitting. My new clubs and specs were given to PING on the 18th and I expect to have them this week.

Your finish issues were on the i20s? How long ago was this?

All seems well except one of the grips was put on with the letterting slightly to one side. Round grips though, so not a big deal. Set was custom ordered @ D2. Going to try and get to a shop to have the swing weight checked and see how good the lofts and lies are.

I recently ordered i20s. Took over two weeks. Was kind of surprised as Ping used to be lightning fast (within a week). My Mizunos, however, came in 4 days after I ordered and were dead on spec wise.

It must be! I just called Ping and they stated that the clubs were shipped on 4/18 and will be here on 4/23. I'll update the post after I take a look at the set. I hope the quality control issues are far and few between.

I can't decide if quick means they're staffed correctly or they aren't receiving enough orders. Titleist has been lightning fast this year too.

I'm not sure about Titleist but I know part of the reason Mizuno is so fast is because they two day air when other companies ship ground. Ping seems to have a backlog right now, G20 irons are 2-3 weeks right now, i20s about 2 weeks, G25 about a week (to Washington).

The 7-8-9 irons looked like that had been hit on something other than a golf ball. The 7 iron had a place out on the toe that looked like a wrinkle. The face of the club at the toe on the 8 & 9 irons looked like they had been drug on the road. I had played less than 10 rds, and about 3 bags of balls with the clubs. The clubs looked like a lot of bag chatter or worse for not many rounds. If this happens with the 2nd set I will move on to something else.

Ordered mine a after a fitting late on 4/10, irons arrived as ordered (white dot, +3/4, yellow grips) on 4/19.

Anyone know who has the fastest turnaround time for orders? Looking to add the 3 iron to my bag. I could go to my local edwin watts but not sure I always trust them and it always takes them a while.

Ordered my S-56s a year and a half ago from EW and the turn around time was quoted at 2 weeks but it actually took about 6 business days. I was happy and impressed!

Maybe it's not PING as much as the stores or reps ordering them.
