I'm surprised Whitefish North, Yellowstone Club (Big Sky) and Meadow Lakes didn't make the list. I also think Canyon River deserves to be ranked ahead of The Ranch Club.

If I were to rank them...

Did some research, this thread appears to be the most appropriate place to pose my questions:

I will be in Livingston, MT for a week or so on a family vacation/wedding weekend for a good friend of mine. We are leasing a cabin for the period of time near Livingston. Looking for golf ideas. Appears that Livingston has a semi-private that appears in good shape, short and cheap. We will definately play there. As for other (or better) golf, looks like the best options are in Bozeman. Anyone have anything to offer as to where to play? I notice that that nicer courses appear to be communities. How strict are they on letting outsider's play? I have access to our well respected head-pro and I assume that would help. Anything is helpful...

What is your drive time limit? I don't know of any "must plays" in Livingston. If you look at the state course rankings I don't think there are any in Bozeman either.
