Saw this ad on GC and got a good laugh - it features what may be the worst looking golf swings around, but nothing Vaseline in a tube (I assume...) can't fix. Yes, they say on the site it will lower your handicap (or invalidate it?)... :)

 

I've got two questions.... 1) what happens when you put it on The Hammer, which already guarantees dead-straight accuracy, and 2) do you still yell POWWWWWW, or something completely different, like SPLAATTTTT?

What is so awesome about sliceaway is its' directional tuned formula. It still allows backspin to get the ball up, yet doesn't allow the unwanted sidespin. Truly remarkable! They are gonna make millions $$$$$$$!

omg, lol. Golf industry is filled with gimmicks and this definitely sits in the top 5. Vaseline your driver to stop slicing, un-flippin-believable!

I'm pretty sure they used mono-directional space-age polymers somehow.

The more I think about this, the more I'm thinking it would make an awesome gag gift or stocking stuffer... along the lines of the Birdie Belt.

Reminds me of Lee Trevino talking about how he used two towels as a kid. The other was clean but the other had plenty of Vaseline on it so when he didn't want the ball to spin, he'd swipe the club face with it.
