Diamana B-series vs Fubuki Alpha vs Fubuki K-series

I'm planning to get a 60s and 70s B-series (japan) shafts for my driver and fairway wood.

ANyone know how they differ from my Alpha and K-series? I have my alpha in a 3Wood and K-series in Driver.

Is the B-series higher/lower launch? Stiffer/softer feel in the hands?

Interesting... I thought that the Fubuki K has a softer feel than my Whiteboard and that the Alpha is a little tighter than my Fubuki K..

Well, I'm getting the B-series Japan version, since I like the graphics so much.

Thanks! Finally someone who knows.

Just out of curiosity, where are you picking one up with the Japanese graphics? I too like that one much better than the American one.

That's ok thanks for the offer though! If it isn't what you were expecting after you try it out let me know! I'm in the market for a used one probably.

You are correct the other poster is wrong.

The K is not as stout as the Alpha the Alpha is also lower launching.

Personally I couldn't stand the Fubuki K 70 I just though it was an awful shaft.

I hit both last year and chose the Diamana B for my driver. Smoother than the K, a bit lower launching, all around better. Fubuki was eliminated fast - in my opinion, no comparison at all to the B.

If you're looking at a Fubuki for a FW, why not consider the AX line, which was made for FWs specifically?

Also, don't just go by what we say in terms of how the shaft plays or by the tech specs. Some shafts work better for your swing than others. I get great numbers with the Fubuki line, and even the Whiteboard/Ahina, because they tend to have a softer butt, but can't seem to get the same consistency with the Blueboard/Kai'li profile.

Of course. I'm just trying to get a feel for people's experience with the B-series . My alpha works perfect for me, so a long as the variation on the B-series is not that great, I can still use it for fun at least.

Been testing out the Japanese B-series and I get similar numbers compared to the Fubuki K.
The B-series might be a tad higher in trajectory.

DOes this sound right?

After extensive testing... the B-series is considered mid launch, mid spin while fubuki K is high launch low spin.

I actually launch the B-series higher and I think I lost about an average of 10 yards vs my Fubuki K.

The B-series also feels a tad softer for me

Just an update to an old topic. I've done loads of testing with the Fubuki A & K shafts both in 70x. My take is that as far as launch is concerned, the A is defenately a lower launcher than the K. Feel for me was 10/10 for the A, ultra smooth that actually had me wondering if I was swing a stiff and not a X flex, the K does feel a little firmer than the A. As far as results, I just can't argue with the numbers, the K bombs it past anything I've hit, it gets up quickly & just hangs, OMG what an awesome flight, if only it had the feel of the alpha. Comparing launch monitor data showed that the K had such a piercing flight, it was still climbing as the A and a few others were changing direction & starting their descent. As for the B-series, I did take 3-4 swings with it in the same weight and flex, but it did not workout well for me, felt a little soft/loose & just did not punch through the air like the A & K did. It might have something to do with swing, shaft load, swing speed???
