Not sure why I never looked into the Rapture driving iron but it looks pretty good. And that TR Zing is just sweet. I recently picked up an OG Zing 2 and would really like to try the TR version.

I would have thought Mizuno would be the first to market with a wood shaft fitting system like this as it is similar to the swing DNA PFS which is used for their irons. Ping App looks SWEET though, very cool.

That shaft attachment sensor looks very interesting. I struggle with deciding which one of the hundreds of shafts out there that I should be using. Supposedly this sensor will tell you which Ping head you should be using, and recommendations for shaft, even suggesting after market ones. I am considering a new Ping driver this spring and this sensor should help me nail down the correct one. John

What's the gadget in the last 4 photos that attaches your iPhone to the face of the driver? I think that would be illegal but if it makes the ball go further and straighter I'll give it a try!

Has anyone gamed those Anser wedges? They look sweet, but afraid a forged wedge would have a pretty short life-span.

I used the Anser wedges for the a few months in the beginning of the golf season laster year. They were the best wedges I have ever hit. They had great feel, forgivness, and etc. However, even with the DG Spinner Shaft I could not get them to spin enough for me. I am not one who thinks it is the arrow and not the indian but all my chips would release out from all yardages. So, after spending 160 on the wedges i traded them in for the Gorges and I saw results the first day I took them on the course...but they are clicky feeling but they produce. I guess the wedges were not for me.

I reccommend going to demo and trying them both. I went with the Ansers from a demo but like most, on the course it was alot different. Good luck,

No, they are calibrating the shaft sensor by using the gyroscope in the iphone. The ping device looks like a watered down version of the Skypro, swingbyte things.

It is a Skypro built for Ping applications. Everything, including the interface they displayed (other than the recommendations), look exactly like the Skypro app. It also looks like they just put a Ping sticker on the back of it; cheap if you ask me. As a club fitter I can't wait to use it though. I have often enjoyed using the Skypro while fitting a client.

The putters look sharp! I like the copper finish. I wonder how the inserts feel, or rather do they have any feel? Almost every insert putter has felt dead to me compared to a normal milled face.

Bag is looking to be mostly Piing this year. Why is it that some stores do not have the Rapture DI yet? I have seen people with them on the board and even selling them, but some online stores dont even have them yet.

The grooves are milled into the face for Karsten TR. Scottsdale TR has an aluminum insert.

I might break my OCD with this club.. it really does look amazing. I love the look and shape of it, also looks like it has minimal offset. How was the performance and feel/sound?

Not the most ringing endorsement. I guess I'll stick with Vokeys. I've switched between Ping and Titleist irons over the years, but have never been able to drop the Vokey wedges.
