I have a freind that used to coach a mid-level D3 team. Breaking 80 was a rarity.

All I know is I picked the Charges and the over for last night ... I want my points.

This sounds horrific. I'm obviously one who doesn't "get it". From the website: PLAYER'S PASS: $55.00Ready to tee it up? Grab your clubs and join the squad as we chase birdies & eagles until sunset. One massive moving group, music blasting, and the best vibes in golf. All skill levels and ages are welcome—this is golf the way it should be. SPECTATOR'S PASS: $10.00Not ready to play? No problem. Take a stroll with the crew, soak in the vibes, and maybe even take a swing when no one’s looking. Ideal for the person in your life who doesn’t play golf… yet. The Mad Scramble Tour This is golf like you’ve never played it—9 holes, 50+ players, one massive group. We’re taking the Mad Scramble to 40+ cities across the country, building community on the course and making golf a club for everyone. What To Expect Best ball format. Music pumping. Wild shots. New friends. No pressure. Just the purest version of the game we love, played the way it should be—with people who get it. -
Starting a new adventure . . . Minimalist Golf

Back on the course, same set up except different putter ... hit my first two tee shots in the pond ... topped the approach ... 3-putted for a 10 on the first hole. Was +8 after 4. Birdied 18 for a 79, or I would have been in the 80s or the first time in months. -

I have almost the exact same 7 club set-up as you do ... I was looking at that same bag, but it's advertised as working for "3-6" clubs ... do you have any problems with putting 7 in there? NVM ... just noticed you have the XL ... -

No carts today, walking only ... carried 7 clubs, only bogey of the day was on 18 ... finished with a 71. -

Today in Des Moines, 95 with a feels like of 115. It was brutal. Good thing was, I got in 24 holes in less than 3 hours ... after playing a 5 and half hour round Saturday. -
Shaft labels are pretty well shot. I can make out an "R" on a couple, which is the only way I know they're regular. They are not shiny ... I was assuming that was because age, but they have no rust or pitting issues.

90+ temperature today ... heat index well into triple digits ... enjoyed a nice, empty course.

In our bigger cities, we also have people selling things out of their trunk (boot) ... but I don't think it's the same thing. -

Been playing a full 14-club bag after getting off to a rough start to the season ... tried out a 7-club bag today (Driver - 5 wood - 5, 7, 9 irons - SW - Putter) ... best ball striking day of the year. 15 GIRs and a tidy little 71, one under. -

So ... this is people just selling stuff out of their car trunk (boot)? -
Will he be employed by the new owners?
-
Well, he's not going to dis a company that paid him millions of dollars.

Is it a caddie issue?
-
Has anybody played one? I have no musical talent, but would like to pick up something I could jam with that is affordable, takes up little space, and has a low entry barrier. I tried guitar, and that wasn't it.
-
I had a GoLo and had it reshafted with a black single bend and put on a 17 inch grip for a counterbalance. Came out really good - but I didn't feel comfortable doing it myself, and had my "club guy" do it. I couldn't put with it at all, but that user error. It was a disappointing $700 experiment.
-
You could just reshaft ... don't know why, but this feels better to me than adding a couple inches to the existing shaft.

Concerns with cutting down putter for junior?
tatertot replied to SE Gamer's topic in Junior Equipment Talk
When I was a wee one, we lived in the country ... we had a 25 yard by 75 yard "yard" near the house where my dad would cut a fairway and 2 greens on, 1 on each end. His only requirement was I not take divots. To this day, I can hit a full wedge and get it to stop without disturbing a blade of grass. Still remember the day I put a ball through the den window when I was 12 ... I was sure I was a goner when my dad got home. He was an avid golfer, and just said these things happen. And try not to do it again. -
I've played every day since March ... including rain, heat and a pipe bomb at the course (people are cray-cray) ... took today off to hang with the fam. Kinda feels wrong not playing. What's the longest streak of days played for y'all?

Even Tiger - during his prime - went over 2 years without winning a major.
