Typically, .355 shafts are not meant to be tip trimmed. They are usually made at discrete lengths for specific irons. So it depends in which hybrid you’re planning to use it. A 39” raw length, depending on the manufacturer, is a 1 or 2 iron length. A two iron head is typically around 233 gms. In weight. A 1 iron 7 gms. less. A two iron is typically played at around 39.5” in length. So, if your hybrid weighs around 233 gms. and you’re planning on playing it at 39.5”, then no tip trimmed would be needed. For anything else you’ll need to make an adjustment.
