TE+ are very easy to hit. Nothing wrong with the combo you’re doing at all. When I run my 44 and 48 down, I’ll likely replace them with a PW and GW in the TS4 at 45 and 50*.
-
Yes. I have the “slightly less forgiving” TE+s and I feel like they’re as or more forgiving than game improvement irons I’ve played in the past, but without all the jumpers/flyers. Agree on golf ball as others have said too. I’m a big fan of the Maxfli Tour X to add spin.

Maltby TS3 feels like the obvious choice here.
-
I used one that was 2mm (1/16 in) and it seems to be the right size. From the top down look, you would think the putter came like that.
-
Shoutout to a few guys for the silver pinstripe car vinyl suggestion. It looks great and cures the biggest weakness to the stock putter.

I just got the 36” CB off a fellow WRX’er. Here’s my initial feedback: - Feel is amazing. Very soft and pure roll. Speed will be an adjustment as it’s a lot slower than a milled putter. Mainly will be tough on long lag putts. - I was hitting the line nearly every time. As I suspected, I wasn’t reading greens very well (aiming too far right) before this and was making up for it by pulling putts. Seeing it go end over end the whole way on the line is a new one for me. - Towards the end, I was hitting 2/3 20 footer, which is not common for me. Obviously in the honeymoon stage, but I really like it. Key will figuring out the speed on those long lag putts. It’s among the softest putters I’ve used.

Maxfli Tour X potentially worth a try too since it's extremely high compression.

Rapsodo MLM2 Pro Lifetime Subscription
POKeefe replied to Shane Cavitt's topic in Personal Launch Monitors
The obvious move is to grab the lifetime right before your first year payment is due. I just did that. Maybe a better device will come out in a few years, but Rapsodo has done an excellent job of improving the product through software. Between the path data and the courses upgrades. Honestly, I didn't re-up my GSPro. Sure, the graphics are better, but Rapsodo courses have more options and are easier to set up. I see the Rapsodo as a practice device instead of hitting balls at the range. And as a way to get work in when it's dark/raining. For that purpose, it's superb. -
I run my hybrids at 17-21-25 and my 6i at 28* if anyone is thinking through gapping. I've found 2-3* to be optimal from your last hybrid into your first iron.

Looking For Diver Recs Based on Trackman Data
POKeefe replied to CheerioCheif's topic in WRX Club Techs
Your numbers are kind of all over the place. I wonder if a lesson would be more helpful at the moment. Any pre-owned driver off Callaway or Global Golf will be less than half the price and give you similar results. At your clubhead speed, I’d be looking at a senior flex and 12* head. You could use some spin and height. -
This thread might be helpful to you depending on how you felt your ballflight looked with the Project X. The S300 might be great, but good to have that context. I went TE+ > TS3 as an example because I dislike thick top lines. Both those and the TS4’s aren’t difficult to hit. So much of club heads and shafts are preference and feel that’s personal to each player.

My understanding of that shaft is it’s designed to go high and spin. It plays very light to flex which is why it’s an R/S combo. When I was considering it, multiple people mentioned it played lighter than a Modus 120 that was already going left on me. The Mid 115 cleaned that up a lot. Project X 6.0 is a 120g shaft and known to be pretty strong. KBS Tour and $-Taper 120 would both be somewhere in that same realm. FWIW, I was told the $-Taper was the best shaft for me by the Mizuno optimizer and I felt it was too heavy. I swing a few mph less than you though. Your PX 6.0 comment is why I went down the popular 120g shaft rabbit hole.
-
Heavier and a different shaft. Those should be the two main changes depending on the grip you put on it. Rest of the head and zero torque capabilities should remain the same.
-
That’s a very heavy shaft, so I’d recommend a fitting or at least going to a PGA Tour Superstore and trying what you like. As an example, I have realized after trying many shafts that I like steel shafts around 115g weight. Going from 100 to 130 is a huge shift. Before spending that kind of money, I’d get a better idea of what you like.
-
Likely need something heavier than the Score. PX 6.0, KBS Tour 120, $-Taper 120. Something like that. I’m in a DG Mid 115 after a Modus 120 S was too soft at 88 mph for context. Score is generally considered even softer than a Modus 120.
-
What did you buy to do this? It looks great and I’d like to duplicate it. If anyone else has created an extended line like this too, please let me know how you did it!
-
Another option is to bend pretty much any player's weak iron. In fairness, the 223s do have a very high offset for a player's iron compared to competitors.
-
Titleist 4H is the most logical for gapping and based on your current bag makeup. Take your pick as to which one.

1. Daytona Beach, FL 2. 10.2 3. CBX Zipcore 48, 52, 56, 60 4. Tour Satin 50 Mid, 56 Full (bent to 55), 60 Low 5. I have played Cleveland wedges for the most part. Liked the CBX Zipcore and original RTX Zipcore, did not like the RTX6’s. They blend well with what I look for out of a wedge. 6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates? Yes. I have an indoor launch monitor and net, so I can do an in-depth review with numbers.

I know the TS3 and TS4 get the love for good reason, but the TE+ are very underrated. They have a similar blade length and consistency as the ZXi7, but a thinner top line and are more forgiving. Ironically, if you put the same brand on the RTZs, you would think the TE+ into RTZs are a combo set.

I found identical to you going from the Modus 120 to the Mid 115.

T150 vs Ai150 and advice on shafts worth demoing
POKeefe replied to Sustained's topic in WRX Club Techs
Modus 120S and Mid 115 are the two I’d try. Modus is a bit easier to swing than the Mid 115, but it likes to draw a bit. I loved the feel of the Modus, but recent switched to the Mid’s as I had a tendency to lose the ball left.
