Titanium Addiction!

Driver-check. 3W-check. 5W-check. Next...?

Like some of us, I'm more or less an equipment-obsessed, hoarding player. To that end, I've been seeking the technology advantage of titanium faced woods. It's almost impossible to not have that in the driver. My gamer is now a TEE XCG-3, 12.5 deg with a Voodoo SVS-6, cut down for 44" play. A Mizuno MP-600 is the bu.

I went same line for main 3W, a TEE XCG-V, with a stock Graphite Design, S. Now have completed the woods in getting my Mizuno MP Ti. 5W with Fubuki S shaft. (same club in 3W as a bu.)

My angle here is hybrids. I have been searching far online for the same technology to perhaps add in the bag, maybe bump out the longest one, my Ping G-10, 21 deg. with UST Pro Force V2 High launch, R. (that is a great club!). I also field a 25 deg. Acer XF hybrid from Hireko on a TT Dynalite SL S shaft - but it is the baby in my bag, it will stay awhile

Research has revealed the same brand popping up again - TEE. They aren't current, but their XCG-V line of hybrids is the only one with Titanium face. I like the speed off this face - the spring! Any other suggestions where hybrids may have this rare part? Found only one vendor so far carries that older TEE - Austads. And, I don't like the specs so much on the stock shaft.

I would second that, they are great hybrids and it has been the only club, my 4h 23* with stiff NVS shaft that has stayed in my bag. Every other club has changed except for that one club!

They can be had for cheap, and they have that explosive titanium feel and sound (like a driver).

You could also check out the MacGregor NVG2 hybrids, they are dirt cheap with similar technology as the Exotics (cup-face titanium).

I love titanium as well.

If you want titanium hybrids, you might also look at these hybrids from little-known (except on the LD circuit and Champions Tour) company Alpha Golf. Their V5 hybrid (coming from their V5 line of drivers and Ti fairway woods also!) is offered up to a 6 hybrid, which in my opinion is more of a 5-iron loft and setup. Plus you can get some custom shaft options if you don't like the stock shatfs, which I don't know much about to be honest. I've been tempted to try their Ti FW's and hybrids myself, but I can't throw money around like that haha. I love Ti in the fairways but not sure about the hybrids. Do you see that much of a difference with Ti in the fairways?

Kasco Hybrids, Macgregor NVG2 hybrids, Ping Rapture Irons (Basically a hybrid haha) and a Scotty Cameron Futura FEELS as hot as titanium! doesn't wilson make a Titanium infused golf ball too?
