  1. LIV is the re-rack cure! Spread the news 😂.
  2. LIV doesn’t release details on this sort of thing. Whether it’s media deals or contract amounts, they’ll just be criticized so might as well keep it in house.
  3. I heard he made nearly 7 figures last year with signings there. That’s crazy!
  4. The teams are footing all of their team expenses and have been for a year I thought
  5. “LIV’s teams are set up to operate independently, signing their own commercial deals and players. The league owns a majority (75%) of the teams, while franchise captains own the remaining 25%. LIV is expected to bring on more players this offseason, but the large signing bonuses of 2022 and 2023 are thought to be a thing of the past. Now, the financial onus is expected to be more on the teams to bring players aboard.“
  6. I think I’m generally aligned with your thoughts here, but I’ll add three things: -The 3M is a very weak event on the PGA Tour, so I wouldn’t draw many conclusions from it. -The PGA Tour’s weakest events still draw 5x what LIV draws in the US, even when both are on broadcast TV. -LIV plays on very bland courses. Outside of Valderrama and Doral, does LIV play on any course that you would take over any PGA Tour course?
  7. I don’t think Hovland and Aberg are interested in LIV. They would have go e already if so. If LIV tries to reign in the up front money significantly, they might have issues.
  8. He has a better career so far, but great players are remembered for how they do in majors more than anything else
  9. Niemann has one top-10 finish in 24 Majors. Fleetwood has eight top-10s including seven top-5 finishes in Majors. In eight Majors, Aberg has two top-10s including a 2nd at the Masters in 2024.
  10. He’s a very good player, but there’s a reason why Data Golf only has him 19th in the world
  11. All those wins are asterisks if LIV won’t allow PGA Tour players to play in their league concurrently 😂
  12. Going to South Africa and having the city/region/country pay LIV instead of a sponsor because of the revenue that LIV brings these areas is a pretty good business model actually. I guess LIV isn’t finding any sponsors to pony up or they don’t want the backlash that comes with being a LIV tournament sponsor.
  13. “The heart wants what the heart wants, right?”
  14. Contractually obligated to act happy. A few weeks ago, he did say his top-10 streak was not really that special because the league is watered down with small fields.
  15. He was injured a few years ago, but I think he’s healthy now
  16. Brooks is still in his prime. He just doesn’t care right now because he’s probably leaving. DJ never cared on LIV. Kim probably cares, but just can’t do it anymore.
  17. You haven’t heard from DJ complaining about OWGR points or not getting on the Ryder Cup team. He knew LIV was about money and money only. He’s honest.
  18. Arrowhead in June had some of the fastest and firmest fairways and greens I have ever seen. Maybe they had a big tournament there, but it just didn’t seem necessary. Sounds like they are paying the price now.
