i agree ... i get it ... would love to see yesterday's equipment be the standard ... but you really think SS is going to suffer more than others? ... he bends it both ways, uses trajectory, has a great short game and is probably a much longer version of Trevino than just about anyone has ever been ... or a less talented version of Tiger ... Rory usually chooses to hit a high draw if he has no other shot ... look at yesterday's round ... several par fours SS hits the right shape with the right traj to the pin ... but, yeah, if I won a big version of the lottery, I'd want to offer up a tournament with yesterday's equipment, even if only for amateurs ... would love to see that ...
