I'm going to recommend swinging through Oceanside, Oregon. Quaint little laid-back town with an excellent beach. My son and I went there for 14 years straight until he was 16. Sandcastle building, beach frisbee, tossin' o' the football, skimboarding, boogie boarding, fresh cioppino. We stayed in the same room perched on the cliff overlooking the beach in the same inn all those years

Maybe the new owners are interested in acquiring that outfit, as well. Or perhaps we are getting a lot more leeway with the content we post.

Not to be macabre but with clubs in the backseat in an accident you are suffering wedges to the back of the head and to the face. Not to be a doomsday guy but I always drive expecting to be in an accident... with all the idiots on the road these days.

Not so if he's been assigned to pick up a fresh supply of Pampers on the way home...

Curious. Can suspicious folks peer in your back windows with the idea of stealing your precious clubs while you're having lunch in Popeyes or running a quick errand in Walmart on the way home from the course?

I had a Mercedes E320 once and I could fit a smaller car in my trunk! My clubs would just roll around in there.

I live in a moderate climate and my clubs are in my trunk all the time. I like the privacy of them being totally out of sight, unlike some vans or SUVs where someone can see your expensive clubs through a window.

BMW 535i. I do the same thing, before I even get interested in the car on the lot I ask the salesperson to open the trunk and I see if my clubs fit. In the case of this BMW they go in at an angle and my hand cart fits, as well
