I could watch Minjee Lee hit golf balls for a while. What a golf swing she has! -

Ha ha….Cali > CLE, no question! Cleveland is actually pretty cool. Lot of great golf over that way. -
My man. I have no less than four Dead headcovers on my bag. Believe me, I’ve tried, but I just can’t play golf at all under the influence of anything, so I save that for the 19th hole.

I entered an event outside of Cleveland this weekend. Saturday we get a hi temp of 75. Sunday 79. Sun, no clouds, no rain. 👍🏼 It will be like San Diego….until I leave the course and see Cleveland instead of Cali. 🤣 -
Courses actually sell alcohol, and dang near encourage players to get drunk. So why do people get so scared about someone getting baked? I play my sports sober….but I’ll choose playing with someone who’s toked up every day and twice on Sunday versus someone who’s drunk. Weed never lowered someone’s inhibitions and made him get loud, argumentative, or want to fight.

Nice. I attended the Crump Cup twice before it was closed to spectators. Tremendous experience and I’d love to go back. -

They looked a little smaller than my Pings but man, especially the short irons, they were superb. I remembered the name, Bald Peak Colony Club. That bluest of blue blood New Hampshire clubs let me play, was a great experience. -

Went to my buddy’s lake house / camp in NH right before I got hurt, didn’t bring my clubs…my buddy and his brother got us a major hookup to play an extremely private club there. I found a set of 845s on his property — SCORE! They sure did look small with modern eyes, but those irons are great and I played fine. -

I don’t think so! I am pretty confident that was his full time set. Dr. Warner was and still is an incredibly unassuming and very cool guy. @aenemated will appreciate, his Ph. D. is from NC St. Wicked smart, a mind for statistics and complicated econometric models….those extra problem sets I got to do whupped me up much worse than he did on the course. -
The most annoying thing in golf, and it's not pace of play

Man that is the worst. I’ve heard people say “but what if someone needs to get by?” when I’ve asked them why they are doing that. Just think about that for a hot minute. Incredible! -

That could be the bag of a world class hustler if it weren’t for the Warrior hiding in the background. Never seen a player with that stuff near the bag. At Clemson, buddy and I got hustled by our Econ professor. He asked us if we wanted to go play that week. Shoot yeah, Walker Course had just opened, let’s go! He rolls up with a cheapo bag, some Big Bertha wood clones called Large Marges 😂, and I don’t remember what else. We settle on two matches, Prof vs buddy, Prof vs me. He says if either of us beat him, we both get two free practice homework problem sets excused the remaining term. If he beats us both, we each have to do one extra problem set. Deal! My buddy is a 4 or so and I was about a 6 so we are feeling confident. Prof is -2 thru the first 4 and he gets better and just beats the brakes off both of us. 🤣 I don’t recall exactly what he shot, I think he finished at -2 or -3. Turns out he was a full ride player at Wake Forest some time back and definitely kept all his game over the years. -

Definitely not before my time. The Walker Cup gets next to zero interest in the States now. 30 years ago? Effectively zero. -

Very few states I’ve never been to. Oregon is one, and it’s one I need to get to! -
Dang! Bobby knows some seriously talented people and his genius these days is getting them together. Oteil is a once in a generation talent and a musician I just love. That’s something music and golf have in common. If you’re going to be any good, you usually are good at a young age, and regardless of when you start, you always become good very quickly.

Commentator rotation….mute button activated… I had never heard of this golf course. It is completely magnificent! -
Read what I wrote again before any further condescension. This is not my first time doing this. Absent any other information, I simply do not believe the volume assumption of 400k units, nor do I believe the 15% margin. But someone does, that’s all that matters.

Same. Walking 18 is something of a doable challenge for me even when conditions are good. I don’t need the hero stuff, and I’m happy to ride until it cools off a bit. Golf is supposed to be fun, and walking my place when it’s 92F and 72% ain’t fun.

A rosin bag is super also, but have to watch accumulation and it getting all messed up down inside your golf bag.
